Mountain Home Crew Pack
(AKA: The Knuckle Dragger Pack)
This pack was designed to meet the needs of Wildland fire crews or anyone
else who busts line for a living. This pack was designed to ride low on your
back and hips for maximum comfort. The pack is made from 1000d Cordura and
is fully padded along your back and hip. Mesh fabric panels allow air
movement between you and the pack. The 'Y' style suspension system
incorporates ergonomics in curved shoulder pads that are fully adjustable
and flex with you when you move for the ultimate in comfort. The pack has a
roomy main compartment with a small zippered compartment on the inside. On
the outside of the main compartment is an expandable zippered compartment
for holding items you may need in a hurry. On either side of the main
compartment are drawstring pockets that have 4 fusee holders each with room
for SIG fuel or extra water bottles. On each hip are built in canteen
holders that are adjustable to hold several sizes of canteens. On the bottom
of the main pack is the fire shelter.
Mountain Rest Crew Pack
This is our Mountain Rest Crew Pack, Designed to meet the needs of the
Most Demanding Crews in Wildland Firefighting. This pack was designed to
ride low on your back and hips for maximum comfort. The pack is made from
1000d Cordura and is fully padded along your back and hips. The unique
sliding yoke style suspension system incorporates ergonomics in curved
shoulder pads that are fully adjustable and flex with you when you move, and
a sliding chest strap for the ultimate in comfort. The pack has a roomy main
compartment with a double cinch top, one outer, and one on the inside for
keeping the contents clean. The top is also covered by a top flap the
contains two compartments, one zippered and one with a Velcro closure to
hold maps and other paperwork or small items. This flap also covers two
large drawstring pockets on the back of the pack, these can be used for SIG
bottles or Water. On either side of the main compartment are drawstring
pockets that are backed by covered fusee holders, with room for SIG
This Wildland Web Gear is also readily adaptable for Search and Rescue work, and is the most comfortable you will ever wear! start with the fully padded waist pack, with its roomy main pocket for carrying equipment, food or whatever. This optional Web Gear Day Pack features a fully padded back for comfort, and has a roomy main compartment in the center for carrying food, first aid supplies, clothing, rescue equipment or whatever. On each side of the main pocket is a roomy half-round side compartment for carrying more water, fuel bottles, etc. And a small pocket in the top flap for small items you want to keep handy.
